As a third generation photographer I grew up surrounds by family albums. I loved caressing the leather covers and turning the pages to take a trip through my family history. I treasure my family’s portrait albums and look forward to sharing them with my children when they are older, so I’m always excited when clients Aimee and Ashleigh choose to give their family the gift of portrait albums.
To give you a glimpse at how fun modern portraits can be, here is a slideshow of a custom designed portrait album capturing sisters Ashleigh and Aimee Gow. Together we choose a mixture of posed and candid, playful shots to show flattering, stylish portraits while also focusing on the close relationship of the girls. This open field provides a great backdrop for family portraits, especially with the crisp natural light and fall foliage that is starting to turn into brilliant colors. We accented the warmth of the images with bold background colors and a modern, punchy layout in the album.
